There are a lot of visual scares, predator decoys, sonic, laser and ultrasonic bird repellers, bird spikes, bird wirings, bird nettings and even smelly sprays available but it seems that a simple target with vivid yellow-red-orange green seem to work pretty well to scare pigeons away.

At least according with a priest at Paróquia Nossa Senhora da Consolação in São Paulo. Since a biologist installed these targets the pigeons simply do not come close to the church anymore. It seems that the spell has something to do with the bad sensation and dizziness that the image cause on the pigeons which make them avoid the place.
